On a bright Sunday morning Llangennech were looking to follow up a good win at Ammanford with another good performance and got off to a good start with a well taken goal from Ben following good work from Oliver and Fenton however it soon became obvious that this was going to be a hard afternoons work for Llangennech as the Rovers ripped us apart on several occaisions throughout the game with some excellent passing and very strong tackling however we battled on but a very strong defence didn`t give us a sniff. A combination of bad finishing and good defence kept the score down until the last two quarters when The Rovers scored at ease however to be fair we kept going and scored the last goal of the game through Oliver following good link up play from Jack G and Jay. Well done to a very impressive Loughor side its back to the drawing board for us, we didnt play well as a team but there were plenty of slithers of good play from each player - Some very good reaction saves from Jack g Ethan tackled well(and put a very brave performance in goal in the last quarter)l Brandon had a very good game in the heart of defence as did Sion r Catrin and Jac X and Fenton tackled well Daniel who is playing almost 2 years up didn`t let anybody down two well taken goals from Ben and Oliver and well done to Ashley who played his first game today. So we took a battering today but tuesday we have to knuckle down and work hard in training keep at it boys and girls it will come again I have every faith in you. Thanks Gwil.
